Clams at Lindenwood

I've always said seafood is one of my favorites, but the thing is I haven't tasted all the seafood there is. There are the general types of seafood that most people have probably eaten, like fish, shrimp, and lobster. Yet those don't sum up the entire category of seafood. There are, what I consider, more exotic types of seafood like Calamari (octopi/octopus), shark, clams, mussels and maybe a ton of other creatures that swim around in the ocean.

Just the other day I tasted a clam. Yes, I admit it. I only ate just one. Lol. I must say though, if it were up to me to order clams as an appetizer I would've chosen something else. Thanks to whoever seasoned the clams at Lindenwood, I may eat clams again. Although I chewed and chewed and chewed some more, the clam was not breaking down, so eventually I just gulped it down. I've heard twice that it has an acquired taste and once that it has many healthful attributes when eaten. I was told that it was grainy, but not so at Lindenwood; I guess it depends on how it's prepared. Plus, I hear fish aren't the only ones packed with Omega - 3's, clams are too!

I thank God for the entire dining experience and I thank a special friend for encouraging me to try my first clam!

Have you eaten clams? How did you like it? Share below.

Quick Announcement

I have started two new blogspot blogs!
Here's a short description of the new two and an update on the older two.

Entering The Multimedia Scene is about various media platforms ie: TV, Radio, Magazines. On this site there will be reviews of current multimedia news from various sources.

The Biz of Advertising is about advertising. I'm taking an Intro into Advertising class and this is the blog that I will be sharing what I learn. Since most of us have seen and heard advertisements hopefully it won't be too hard getting down to the gritty details. It should actually be fun, for advertisers create and produce with a purpose (just has how God does things and changes things with a specific purpose in mind).

Just A Little Something on Wordpress is still up and running so visit that site to check it out. There has been continuous growth in the posts as well as the views.

I'm giving some thought on The Beginning blog site. It may be concentrated on one topic... or actually, this just came to mind, I will record the beginning of things on this site.

We all have beginnings in life. Why not celebrate it?

Three Scriptures on Purity

Song of Solomon 3:5 "I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or by the does of the field, do not stir up or awaken love until it pleases."

2 Timothy 2:22 "Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."

1 Corinthians 7:34 "There is a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world – how she may please her husband."

Coffey Anderson

A few months ago I remember sharing a YouTube video, a song called Trading my Sorrows covered by Coffey Anderson. Then, I didn't know what was going on in Mr. Anderson's  life, but I knew that I wasn't the only one who believed he can sing and play the guitar.

"All I can really say now is that sometimes when you look back on your life, you can honestly say wow look where I am now, Thank you Jesus. 6 months to a year may pass and at your present time you don't know what God has planned for your life, it's when you get there that you'll know. The feeling will be like standing on top of a mountain, with your arms stretched wide, tears brimming your eyes, you are speechless, all there is to do is praise God and thank Him like never before." - TC

This album...is worth more than what it is on sale for, but I don't think it's about the money...
I'm just satisfied with my purchase.

If you're looking for something, maybe some new gospel song's, why not check out this album.

Coffey Anderson - Released 9.28.2010

The album is on iTunes and in stores.

He's Always Here

Deuteronomy 3:8
" The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

In troubled times, uncomfortable situations or nervous moments, God is always with you. The Bible says that The Lord himself goes before you. Meaning he won't let you enter something you can't handle. Whatever the situation God walks in before you even get there. He is our protector. The Bible continues to say, "He will never leave you nor forsake you". This is a promise from God, He will never leave us, nor forsake us. We are His children, we are His.

And the last part of the verse" Do not be afraid;do not be discouraged". For what reason should we allow ourselves to feel afraid or discouraged when we have God with us. Our Father who will never abandon us, or leave us. Even when we may feel like we've had enough and it's time to give up, God will be here and He will give us that little push we may need to continue - He never gives up on us.

When you can't trust anyone else, you can trust God.
